Come join your fellow traditional archers and enjoy a day of 3D archery. Bring your recurve or long bow and try your hand at 28 marked 3D animal targets. This is a traditional only event – no compound bows allowed.

Shoot starts at 9:00 a.m.
All registration will be day of the event.

A benefit for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Wilderness Golden JOAD will be hosting a one day shoot at the El Dorado Hills Bowmen facility at 3321 El Dorado Hills Blvd. The shoot will be at 28 cartoon marked paper targets; 11-10-8 scoring; 2 arrows. T-Shirts and lunch will be provided for pre-registered archers.

Target of the Month Awards for Target Maintenance
Once again, club members have stepped up and are really making their assigned targets look great. Weeds continue to be cleared, benches are being painted and bales & targets are getting the maintenance to keep them in tip top shape.
For those of you who have not volunteered already, there are still a few targets left to be assigned. Be sure to give Ken a call or send him an email and let him know you're ready to help out.
Each month, a specific target will be chosen as the "Target of the Month" for being the best maintained target. The person(s) responsible for that target will receive a certificate of appreciation for that month. At the end of the year, those members who have won a monthly award will get together and choose the overal "Target of the Year" to be presented at the annual awards banquet.
A hearty congratulations goes out to the target of the month winners for July! Thank you everyone for your continued help keeping the range in shape.
